Patients are being warned to expect delays on Thursday amid industrial action within the health sector.

Thousands of healthcare workers will walk off the job for up to four hours.

Regional workers will stop work for up to two hours.

Health Services Union NSW Secretary Gerard Hayes told Mark Levy emergency responses will still occur.

“We don’t want to hurt the people of NSW but we’ve got very little choice.”
