‘Heads will roll’: NSW Premier hopes to see NSW trains return back to normal by Monday

Clinton Maynard

The shutdown of NSW’s passenger rail network on Monday caused community uproar and NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet doesn’t “want to see this ever again”.

As the fallout from Monday’s 24-hour shutdown continues to swarm the Perrottet government, the Premier is aiming to see a full return of network by Monday next week.

He told Jim Wilson, “we’re certainly working towards that point”.

“We are doing everything we can to deal with the issues that the Union have.”

The shutdown caused disruptions to work, schools and university.

“I don’t want to see this ever happen again.”
