Federal Treasurer Jim Chalmers has hosed down concerns about the government’s plan to change rules around superannuation.

Jim Chalmers spoke with Chris O’Keefe to address the superannuation tax rates and preliminary access.

The Treasurer made a pledge to cap super accounts at a yet-to-be-declared figure, and impose stricter regulations for early withdrawal, but has no intention to eliminate the “hardship provision”.
