Guy Sebastian is feeling “relieved” after his former manager Titus Day was found guilty of embezzling the pop star’s money.

The 49-year-old manager was accused of failing to pay Sebastian almost $900,000 in royalties and performance fees over five years.

Mr Day was charged with more than 60 offences and found guilty of more than 30.

A variety of different circumstances saw delays and the trial ended up running for two months.

The Australian singer-songwriter told Ben Fordham he never wanted the situation to get to this point but is relieved it’s over.

“It’s been a pretty challenging time,” he said.

“I was just really relieved at the end because it’s been four and half years of going through something very painful.”
