Phil Gould says he believes Wallabies coach Eddie Jones could coach rugby league in the current environment.

Gould sat down with Jones for a fascinating, one-on-one, cross code interview on Stan Sport.

“When you’re talking about Eddie Jones, you’re talking about a man with a wealth of experience in his code,” Gould told Mike Pearsall on Wide World of Sports.

Gould said they touch on Jones’ career, his coaching mentality, his philosophy and relationship with players.

He said he had “no hesitation” declaring Jones could coach rugby league.

“Eddie Jones with his experience worldwide and his personal skills and his management skills would easily make it as a rugby league coach in the current environment.”
