Clinton Maynard

Hydrofoil paddleboarder James Casey has set the Guinness World Record for travelling 200km in 12 hours on a hydrofoil paddleboard.

James set off from Kyola on the South Coast at the crack of dawn this morning and travelled 200 kilometres in just 12 hours

Mr Casey is raising money for Brain Cancer Research due to losing his father Roger this year.

Stepping foot onto Bondi Beach, James told Jim Wilson, the conditions were tough.

“It was really hard.”

“I’m looking forward to a hot shower!”
