Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor and Government Services Minister Bill Shorten have clashed on air in a heated debate over the ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza.

The confrontation began when Shorten was questioned about whether Prime Minister Anthony Albanese should follow the example of other world leaders and visit Israel amid the conflict.

Taylor responded by stating, “he doesn’t believe he has to visit”, and then proceeded to criticise the Opposition’s stance on the Prime Minister.

This exchange led to a heated debate between the two, as they exchanged differing viewpoints.

“Maybe the opposition needs to step up a bit and stop trying to look at every issue through the lens of Anthony Albanese,” Shorten
