Greyhound NSW say the decision to close the Dapto Dogs racing track is “totally unlawful”.

The Dapto Agricultural and Horticultural Society announced they would close the famous track after its racing registration expired in October.

But Greyhound Racing NSW CEO Tony Mestrov tells Ross Greenwood he’ll fight to keep the track open.

“I’m on my way to Dapto now, we’re going to get a race meeting up tomorrow night. 

“The decision is totally unlawful.”
