The NSW government has confirmed the Great Western Highway will stay closed for a minimum of three months, due to safety concerns.

Minister for Roads and Regional Transport Jenny Aitchison joined 2GB Afternoons to provide an update on why the highway will remain closed for a further three months.

Ron Finemore Transport Executive Director Ron Finemore also joined Michael McLaren to discuss the impact of the Great Western Highway closure.
