Television star and radio host Grant Denyer reckons he’s the infamous Lithgow panther…

And he’s got a video to prove it.

The 2DayFM breakfast co-host posted the footage to Instagram, insisting he spotted a “massive, black panther” roaming around his land.

“The famous panther myth is TRUE!” he writes.

Myths and legends have been circulating about black panthers prowling the Aussie bush for years.

The big black cats have supposedly been spotted in the Hawkesbury, across the Hunter Valley and as far south as Victoria.

How exactly they got here, noone can be sure.

But Grant Denyer is certain about one thing: he spotted the black panther with his own eyes.

“I know what I saw, and I stand by my claim,” he tells Ben Fordham.

“I saw with my own eyes, and I grabbed the binoculars to confirm, a black panther.”

He says the animal was so big “it stood out like anything”.

“It’s ten times the size of a domestic cat.

“It’s unmistakable.”

Ben is sure this topic will send the open-line into meltdown. So what do you think?
