Government has their ‘head in the sand’ over warning signs: Chris Minns

mark levy

NSW Opposition Leader Chris Minns is calling on the government to return mobile speed camera warning signs sooner rather than later.

The NSW government is refusing to confirm when exactly warning signs will return in the state after the Premier indicated a review of the scheme.

Mr Minns told Mark Levy “they’ve got their head in the sand”.

“It looks like revenue-raising on a massive scale.

“At the rate they’re going, we anticipate they’ll collect something like $48 million in fines for offences less than 10kms just this financial year.”
