‘Go to anti-racism training!’: Pauline Hanson sued over tweet

Article image for ‘Go to anti-racism training!’: Pauline Hanson sued over tweet

Greens Senator Mehreen Faruqi is suing One Nation leader Pauline Hanson over an allegedly racist tweet made last year.

Faruqi is taking federal court action against Hanson, asking her to pay $150k to charity, after claiming a breach of the Racial Discrimination Act.

In response to Faruqi’s tweet about the Queen’s death last year, Hanson made a series of remarks about the senator’s ethnic background.

One Nation seems to be in trouble, as several party representatives are now facing legal action against them.
