Jim Wilson has ripped into the NSW government after the delay of several multi-billion dollar projects and the “rush” of acquiring homes.

Home are being taken by the government as part of compulsory land acquisition for the Beaches Link and new Western Harbour Tunnel and Jim has called it “highway robbery”.

“So you’ve got hard-working people who’ve been shortchanged and in a number of cases they simply can’t stay in the area due to the insulting deals offered by the state government,” he said.

“How on earth can you take someone’s home away from them for way under market value for a project that’s delayed and might not even go ahead!”
