Regional charity Rural Aid is appealing to Australians to support the mental resilience of farmers amid disaster this ‘Giving Day’.

Rural Aid CEO John Warlters told Jim Wilson assistance is needed this year more than ever.

“2021 has thrown up more disasters than I have fingers to count them on it.

“It started with a flood, we’re going to finish with a flood, we’ve had mouse plagues, we’ve had cyclones, drought, bushfires – you name it.”
