Kindness is free, but we don’t give it freely.

That’s what Perth woman Naomi Lambert says.

As we count down the days until Christmas, thousands of people have been rushing to the shops to buy last minute gifts for loved ones.

But have you ever thought about giving the gift of kindness?

And what about sharing it with a stranger?

Last year, Naomi decided to hide 50 cards of kindness around Perth as a way of overcoming a terrible year.

She didn’t expect anything, she just wanted others to feel loved and appreciated.

To her surprise, 32 people sent her a response.

That’s how her The Cool To Be Kind Project started.

She sells “kindness” cards, to encourage people around the world, to share words of kindness with strangers.

And this festive season, she’s selling special Christmas cards to raise money for Motor Neuron Disease Australia.
