This Valentine’s Day, 24 lucky couples get the chance to tie the knot onboard the Manly Ferry on Sydney Harbour.

Member for Manly James Griffin talks with Michael McLaren about this new style of nautical nuptials.

“You can’t get a much better backdrop that the iconic Harbour Bridge or the Opera House.

“It will be the first time the registry has conducted water-based weddings.

“It was just an innovative approach to do something different.”

But Mr Griffin is warning the lucky couples not to forget their Opal cards, “just to be prepared.”
