Australia is readying up for a once-in-a-lifetime World Cup on home soil, and its hopes rest on shoulders of its captain.

Sam Kerr will lead the Matildas into the tournament, and Mark Bosnich believes its up to the players around her to make her as good as she can be.

“The team will have to use her at her most optimal if they’re going to go all the way”, Bosnich remarked.
