Khodr Yaghi, 45, was allegedly attacked by Adam Abdullah, 25, after the Greenacre Eagles lost to the Padstow Hornets at Padstow Oval on Friday night.

Khodr’s wife, Fay Yaghi, told Ben Fordham “I’m shocked… I never thought something so vicious could happen”.

“He’s got a couple of teeth missing. His jaw is broken into three pieces. He is non-stop bleeding,” said Fay.

Adam Abdullah has now been charged with affray and wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
