Sydney property developer Jean Nassif and his building company Toplace are facing fresh orders from NSW Fair Trading amid fears the Vicinity complex at Canterbury could collapse.

New South Wales Building Commissioner David Chandler spoke with Chris O’Keefe about the matter and revealed which under-fire engineering company is behind a host of quality issues.

“They have just left a trail of very, very poor quality structure behind them as they’ve done their work,” he said.
