Straight Shooters Hollie Hughes says the closure of the Great Western Highway is having a significant impact on the locals.

She’s revealed some locals have been forced to cancel medical appointments and students are facing extended journeys to schools due to the closure.

“No one believes it’s going to be three months. No one … so they’re either lying to families and business or they’re completely stupid,” she told Clinton Maynard.
