Former prime minister Scott Morrison has joined Ben Fordham for the first time since Saturday’s federal election defeat.

The MP will return to his home in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire as Anthony Albanese takes up residence at The Lodge.

Mr Morrison told Ben he’s “disappointed by the result” but has no plans to retire.

“I’m going back to being a quiet Australian in the Shire!

“I’m looking forward to being a dad again.”
