Former Labor MP rips into ‘tone deaf’ Opposition leader as ‘Mean Girls’ claims ramp up

Former Federal Labor MP Emma Husar believes Anthony Albanese is skirting his responsibilities after ruling out an investigation of claims of workplace bullying.

Opposition Senators Penny Wong, Kristina Keneally and Katy Gallagher are accused of bullying and isolating their late colleague.

Senator Kitching died from a heart attack aged 52 last week with work-related stress believed to have contributed to her sudden death.

Until now, the trio has refused to respond to the claims out of respect for Ms Kitching.

But they’ve since released a statement saying “The allegations of bullying are untrue. Other assertions which have been made are similarly inaccurate”.

Emma Husar told Jim Wilson, “Albanese has been tone-deaf to these issues for a long time”.

“Of course, they have a culture problem!” she said.

“You can’t just hide behind it.”
