Former Jewish Board for Deputies CEO calls on leaders to be courageous in the face of bigotry
The former CEO of the NSW Jewish Board of Deputies has told 2GB Afternoons host Michael McLaren Australians should be allowed to celebrate any holiday without fear.
Vic Alhadeff says Australia needs to rebuild and demonstrate leadership after yesterday’s horrific terror attack at Bondi.
“So that means leaders of every civil society sector have the courage to speak when they see bigotry in any form, when they see racism, when they see anti-Semitism, and that is what is so desperately needed right now,” he said.
