Former deputy commissioner Mick Willing has come out in support of Karen Webb after her controversial visit to a luxury car dealership during the NSW floods.

Ms Webb attended an International Women’s Day event at Sydney’s exclusive Maserati dealership, raising money for Police Legacy and the PCYC.

Mr Willing left the force after Ms Webb was appointed police commissioner.

He made it clear to Ray Hadley he was not involved in the “unfair” Daily Telegraph story against the Commissioner and has voiced his “unequivocal” support.
