Gold medal-winning Australian swimmer, Flynn Southam will compete in the 9-day-long Australian Swimming Championships in Queensland.

This event will double as the national selection trials for the 2023 World Para Swimming Championships to be held in Manchester in July.

At the 2023 Commonwealth Games, Flynn won a gold medal in the 4×100 metre freestyle relay.

“I’m keeping the big picture in the back of my mind and focusing on being the best I can each day,” Flynn told Adam Hawse.

The 2023 Australian Swimming Championships are scheduled to be held from 17 to 20 April.
