A new children’s art library is now open for the final few days of the school holidays.

The children’s area is the first of its kind with thousands of books, activities and stories for kids.

Head Archivist/Librarian Steven Miller told Deborah Knight, the project being completed was “about time” and it’s a concept wanted for a while by parents and kids.

“It’s just a really lovely and welcoming space.”
