Finance Minister hits out at unions over today’s train strikes

Article image for Finance Minister hits out at unions over today’s train strikes

The NSW Finance Minister has hit out at the unions after today’s train strikes.

Overnight strike action disrupted the morning commute today and The Rail Union said it had no choice but to push ahead with the action, despite the flow-on effects for commuters.

Rail Union Secretary Alex Claassens stated he’s disssapointed in the Government for not fairly negotiating on modifying the new intercity trains.

Damien Tudehope told Jim Wilson he can’t interpret what the agenda is besides money.

“This can’t go onto the election if it’s not political.”
