‘Fill up and dash’ – Michael McLaren links Victorian premier’s servo blunder to Labor’s spending
Michael McLaren has drawn parallels between Victorian Premier Ben Carroll forgetting to pay for his fuel at the service station and the Labor government’s spending.
He thinks there is “synergy” between Carroll’s mistake and what the Labor government have done to Victorians since they’ve come into office.
“The biggest spenders are the ones who talk the loudest about intergenerational fairness despite the fact they’re handing the young ones a handy receipt of their policy equivalent of a long lunch,” he said.
