Ahead of the Women’s World Cup, the plaques under sporting legends’ statues were to be covered by FIFA.

FIFA have reversed their decision to remove unofficial branding around Australian stadiums as a part of their ‘clean-site’ policy.

This branding was to include the brass plaques of Australian sporting legend’s statues which stood around Australian stadiums.
