A federal minister is insisting the government’s position on delivering stage three tax cuts hasn’t changed.

Minister for Industry and Science Ed Husic told Deborah Knight the Government hasn’t wavered on their election promise.

“The coalition has left us in a lot of debt, but our decision hasn’t changed to cut taxes, despite the difficult economic circumstances around the world.”

Shadow treasurer Angus Taylor says Labor went to the election with a very clear commitment to the Australian people.

“Labor need to lock in their promise and reassure the public that they will commit to delivering these cuts.”
