Federal Energy Minister Angus Taylor is supporting the NSW Premier’s plan to end quarantine.

Dominic Perrottet has announced all quarantine requirements will be scrapped from November 1 for those who are fully vaccinated.

But Ray Hadley has confirmed the Mr Perrottet did not speak to the Prime Minister before announcing the changes.

“I wasn’t expecting it,” Mr Taylor admitted to Deborah Knight, “I can’t speak for the PM’s office.”

“We can’t live in a hermit kingdom, and I think it is appropriate we start allowing people to come back into the country if they’re double vaxxed without having to quarantine.”
