‘Fancy Dress For Your Test’: a family’s idea to put a smile on the face of COVID nurses

Clinton Maynard

A NSW family decided to dress up for their COVID test, making the nurses giggle at the drive-through testing site.

The family dressed up in Richard Benaud costumes.

Charlie McLennan, mum and co-founder of the ‘Fancy Dress For Your Test’ Facebook page, told Clinton Maynard the nurses were laughing so hard.

“They (nurses) said we really made their day, we have had a really bad day and it was the best thing that happened to us since doing these tests,” she said.

A Facebook page has been created called ‘Fancy Dress For Your Test’ where other families are now getting involved and sharing pictures of their costumes.
