Mark Levy has called out the government’s latest plan of building an 11km tunnel from the east of Blackheath to Little Hartley.

The tunnel has been promised by the Perrottet government to slash travel time and ease holiday congestion.

We’re also told that unlike the North and West Connex projects, the Blue Mountains Tunnel will be toll-free, and if you believe that, I’ll be running for Prime Minister at the next Federal Election,” Mark said.

NSW Opposition leader Chris Minns believes the proposal announcement is costing “way too much money”.

Mr Minns told Mark Levy there is no “endless supply” of money available to complete the plan.

“You can’t just turn up a couple of months before the election and say we have got a proposal for a multi-billion-dollar tunnel.”
