Shocking footage of vicious pub brawl

BEN FORDHAM EXCLUSIVE

A security guard has been hospitalised and four people have been arrested following a vicious brawl outside a pub in Sydney’s inner west.

A source has sent Ben Fordham a video of the brawl, which took place on Wednesday night outside the Alfred Hotel at Camperdown.

The co-owner of the Alfred Hotel, Bill Smith, says the group of men and women, believed to be a family of British tourists, were getting rowdy before being asked to leave the venue.

They refused to move away from the front of the hotel and can be seen repeatedly punching and kicking two security guards who try to keep them at bay.

At one point a bouncer can be seen defending himself with a bar stool.

Mr Smith is defending the actions of his staff, telling Ben Fordham they were struck multiple times and don’t deserve this kind of treatment.

“These people need to be charged and face the full brunt of the law.

“We support the police and hope they come down very hard on these hooligans.”

One of the security guards, Tony, had to go to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital due to facial injuries.

At about 6am on Thursday, police arrested and charged three of the patrons involved in the brawl.

Police are currently searching for the other family members involved.
