Ben Fordham has slammed NSW Health over its restrictions on new mums.

A 2GB listener contacted Ben, and highlights how parent groups are still being held across zoom.

“Some in NSW Health are clinging onto the pandemic for dear life.”

“Here we are – in February 2023 – and they’re still being held over zoom, Freedom Day in NSW was October 11, 2021!” Ben said.

“So let me get this straight, you could have 1,000 new mums and babies packed into a Wiggles concert, but it’s too unsafe for them to catch up as a small group to support each other.

“Minister Brad Hazzard needs to send a direction to all of his health districts today. The pandemic restrictions are over!”
