EXCLUSIVE: NDIS businesses being sold on Gumtree!

People are selling fully registered NDIS businesses online to the highest bidder, with a seven-seater wheelchair van going for $290,000 on Gum Tree, Ben Fordham has revealed.

The NDIS provides support for 577,000 Australians living with disabilities, but Minister Bill Shorten is still faced with the issue of over 150,000 providers earning money off of the NDIS.

Less than 10 per cent of service “providers” are officially registered with the NDIS, and now registered businesses are being sold, with one source saying, “It can cost us millions of dollars a year.”

“It costs so much money and it’s a hassle…You don’t have to do it,” said Ben.
