NSW Police have shut down a large-scale drug manufacturing operation being run out of a small town in the state’s central west.

Commissioner Mick Fuller informed Ray Hadley of the bust at Neville, south of Blayney, which has a population of only 100.

A total of 11 people have been arrested this morning – across the Illawarra and the Central West – following months of investigations.

Officers seized two firearms and 20 kilograms of a white powder, believed to be MDMA, in Neville.

The operation extended to Sydney where police found a pill press, cash and a money counting machine.

One of Neville’s 100 residents, Colin, tells Ray he’s glad the culprits have been busted.

“The local people here are wondering who the hell it was,” he says.
