Two students in a same-sex relationship at a Catholic high school in Kingsgrove have allegedly been barred from attending their formal due to being gay.

The students, currently completing their HSC, say they were told they were not welcome to attend together by administration at St. Ursula’s in Sydney’s south. They have launched a change.org petition to raise attention in hopes of overturning the apparent ban of same-sex couples at the school.
