Roads Minister Natalie Ward has confirmed the speed limit in the Liverpool CBD will increase from 30km to 40km from January, once a new safety barrier is installed.

2GB listeners have voiced their anger over the speed limits, with countless examples of being stung by the speed cameras.

The mayor of Liverpool described a 30km/h speed limit trial in Liverpool’s CBD as “insane”.
