The City of Sydney Council has implemented plenty of duds onto its streets, but this latest move could be causing the most unnecessary damage.

Bike lanes are showing up all over Sydney, but often without much consideration for emergency services or cars. 2GB has obtained news and images of a cycleway being popped up outside the busiest fire station in Sydney.

Liberal councilor Shauna Jarret told Chris O’Keefe the decision just doesn’t make sense from an urban planning perspective.
