Eskimo Joe frontman takes on new approach in latest single

Michael McLaren

Eskimo Joe frontman Kav Temperley has explained his purposeful attempt at creating a “new type” of music ahead of his second solo album release.

Kav’s single ‘Machines of Love and Grace’ takes on a “poetic feel” that differs from the rock feel of Eskimo Joe.

Kav Temperley believes musical change is “good for the art”.

The musician told Deborah Knight music is “always evolving”.

“With this song, I’m doing what I always do which is document what is going on in front of me, but I don’t have to think about performing it to the masses the same way I do with Eskimo Joe.”
