‘Enough is enough’: Mascot Towers residents push for buyback scheme
Residents of Sydney’s Mascot Towers say the saga has “dragged on long enough” after the complex was evacuated in 2019 due to structural integrity issues.
The issues have left 300 owners in financial and emotional distress.
Rachel owns one of the apartments and told Ray Hadley, the owners will be meeting with either Matt Kean minister responsible this week, as they push for a buyback scheme.
“More defects have been found and the building is continuing to crack.
“The property is disintegrating daily!”
