Spanish Actress Elsa Pataky revealed what inspired her to become an action star in her latest film ‘Interceptor’.

Elsa plays an Army Captain named JJ Collins who must use her years of tactical training and military expertise when a simultaneous coordinated attack threatens the remote missile interceptor station she is in command of.

The actress told Deborah Knight she grew up loving and watching action movies which “inspired” her when growing up.

“I grew up watching action movies, I love them,” she said.

“I always wanted to be the female version of Indiana Jones.”

Elsa also didn’t rule out potentially starring in future films alongside her Aussie husband Chris Hemsworth.

“We both are passionate … It’s a great thing to do together.”
