An elderly man has been targeted in a home invasion in Sydney’s north-west.

The 87-year-old man was woken around 2.30am on Tuesday morning to find two unknown men in his house on John Street, Baulkham Hills.

The men, who were dressed in all black with their faces covered, demanded money from him before stealing cash and fleeing the scene.

The elderly man was not injured during the invasion.
