Education Minister doesn’t want home learning to return ‘ever again’

Clinton Maynard

The Education Minister is firm in her stance of not wanting at-home learning to return.

For children, it was back to school today but in some slightly different circumstances.

With twice weekly rapid antigen testing, and covid protocols enforced strictly, Education Minister Sarah Mitchell told Jim Wilson today’s return to school was: “So far, so good.”

“I’m happy to report it was very smooth sailing.”

The Minister has stood by her view to get schools back open amid the Omicron wave and said “We have to make sure we have all the protocols in place”.

“I feel really confident that we have all the right measures in place, and our schools are implementing them very well.”

“I do not want to see broad-scale learning from home across New South Wales ever again.”
