E-Bike explosion leads to call for refresh of battery import rules

According to research from EV FireSafe, almost 100 people have been injured and more than 50 fires have been started by electric bikes, e-scooters and other similar devices in less than three months.
EV FireSafe Director Emma Sutcliffe told John Stanley that fires and explosions from lightweight electric vehicles are likely to get much worse, unless new regulations are introduced.
