Dumbest criminal of all time accidentally turns himself in

Article image for Dumbest criminal of all time accidentally turns himself in

A man on a suspended license will face court after he allegedly drove to the police station… drunk.

It’s alleged he parked in a police-vehicle-only spot outside Kogarah Police Station, in Sydney’s south, before staggering into the precinct.

After smelling alcohol on him, officers did a blood alcohol test on the man which allegedly returned a reading of .226, more than four times the legal limit.

It turns out the 57-year-old had intentionally driven to the police station… so he could report for bail as part of his two previous drink driving offences!

“He’s now got the trifecta!” says Ray who can reveal the man’s name is Emmanuel Hatzistamatis.

This time around Hatzistamatis has had his keys confiscated and been denied bail to front Sutherland Local Court today.
