A man is in a serious condition after he was repeatedly stabbed following a car crash in Sydney’s south-west overnight.
CCTV footage captured the moment two cars collided at around 1am on Wyattville Drive at West Hoxton.
The video shows one car deliberately ramming another, reversing into it at speed before slamming into it front on.
The passenger of the other car then gets out with a knife and repeatedly stabs the driver through the window.
He then jumps back in his car and the driver takes off, fleeing the scene.
The injured man can be seen and heard running from his car, screaming for help.
The 25-year-old driver has been taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Detective Acting Inspector Adrian Alston tells Ben Fordham police are still searching for the occupants of the second car and aren’t getting any information from the victim.
“We are at a bit of a loss as the reason for why it’s occurred as it has. Unfortunately, the gentleman himself is not speaking to us.
“We haven’t got that much to go on other than the vision.”
