Amidst a spike in road fatalities, Drive.com.au is championing a new initiative for safer roads – a towing endorsement for driver’s licenses.

The national road toll has alarmingly risen by 8% in the past 12 months, reaching 1,234 deaths.

Trent Nikolic from Drive.com.au highlighted driver attitude as a key factor in road safety, particularly in the context of soaring caravan and trailer sales. They propose a nationally recognised towing endorsement for Australian driver’s licenses to address a significant gap in driver education and experience.
