The Dragons have fervently blocked captain Ben Hunt’s release request, with a statement issued over the saga.

Hunt made headlines over talk of wanting a move back to Queensland, but now it looks like St. George will remain home for the star.

Recent coaching hire Shane Flanagan said keeping Hunt was a priority for him.
